Nordic Semiconductor's nRF52 development kit is used to develop Bluetooth Smart (formerly known as Bluetooth Low Energy) ANT or 2.4GHz applications.
nRF52 is considered to be ideal for rapid prototyping using nRF52 devices. Its Arduino Uno is pin compatible and allows connection to third party Arduino Uno compatible shields. The development board has connector pins for all device I / O and interfaces. There are four user-programmable LEDs and buttons, and a button battery holder on the board allows evaluation and testing in a variety of situations. It has a dedicated connector for an external NFC antenna for NFC-A tag emulation.
