Traco Power THV / SHV series DC-DC converter is a small regulated micro power module, using SMD and hybrid technology, and running at 2-3W power. THN-15 series high-performance DC-DC converter modules set new power density standards. The company said that this 15W converter comes in a sealed, shielded metal package measuring only 1 x 1 x 0.4 inches, which takes up 50% less board space than previous products.
All models have a wide input voltage range of 2: 1 and a precisely regulated isolated output voltage. Its advanced circuit design provides high efficiency up to 88%, allowing operating temperature range of -40C to + 85C (derating). Other features include remote on / off and adjustable output.
Typical applications include distributed power architectures in mobile equipment, instrumentation, communications and industrial electronics, and where PCB space is critical.
