The Vishay VEML6040 RGBW color sensor detects red, green, blue and white light. VEML6040 uses a CMOS process to integrate photodiodes, amplifiers, and analog / digital circuits into a single chip. With Filtron technology, the device achieves the ambient light spectral sensitivity closest to the human eye's response. When applying the sensor, the brightness and backlight color temperature can be adjusted according to the ambient light source.
