The Vishay IFSC device is a new series of Vishay's ultra-low profile high-current inductors, which combines a profile as low as 1mm, the highest maximum frequency and a wide range of standard inductance values from 1.47µH to 330µH. The new high-current inductors are suitable for many different applications, including DC-DC converters, thin high-current power supplies, point-of-load (POL) converters, hard drives, smart phones, tablet computers, and digital cameras.
Key advantages include shielded structures and the ability to handle high transient current spikes without saturation. The device has a maximum maximum frequency range up to 5MHz. The saturation current range is 0.235A to 5.5A. Typical DCR is 17mohm to 4200mohm, and the maximum DCR is 22mohm to 5040mohm. The operating temperature range is -55C to + 125C. Their packaging sizes are 0896, 1008, 1111 and 1515.
